WEEK 1
Hello everyone! So today was my first session of meeting my child for my Social Engagement course, and I was ecstatic for that. My 'Basic Entrepreneurship Culture' class ended at 7pm, so I rushed there because I was supposed to meet my child at 6pm, but my group mates managed to settle that problem.
When I first entered the Student Lounge, I met my boy Amsyar, and he seemed like a quiet boy. My group mates informed me that I am supposed to be a bit more attentive to him because it seemed like he was not the type of student to participate in class. He was very shy and whenever I asked him a question, he hesitated to answer.
We did group work together, Jannah taught them English because two of our students had English test the next day. We played some games and then we all went to pray together

That's it for me for the first week.
WEEK 2
Hi again everyone! So today was the second session of my SE course, but unfortunately my child Amsyar did not attend today due to the fact that it's school holidays. We held our class with other groups at The Cube, FSKTM. Initially we had some problems with the technicians and such, but I believe our lecturer would be able to resolve them in a fine matter.
So today we did power searching with Google & Powerpoint. We taught them how to use the informaton gained from Google and extract it to make a nice-looking slide in Powerpoint. There's not much happening because the kids are so into decorating the slides, so most of the time are spent there.
We told them to present their slides and they did their job confidently, I am proud of them, but I do wish that my boy Amsyar was here for today.
That's it for me for the second week.
WEEK 3
For week 3, we came back from our mid-semester break. I did not attend the camp as I had personal issues to deal with. Amsyar registered for iLearnAce, did some exploration on the Note page. and did some exercises. My groupmates handled the session very smoothly and there was no problem.
WEEK 4
For this week, we taught our children how to create mind map. They learned how to create 'i-Think' maps. Although it was a bit slow, the students managed to comprehend this week's module and made progress efficiently with the help of iLearnAce e-learning portal.
Next, we did the normal stuff. Random exercises were answered by the students and they are seemingly improving.
WEEK 5
For today, we did our normal assessment exercises, and Amsyar's performance has been gradually increasing. The e-learning portal seems to be one of the major factor that made his performance rose.
WEEK 6
Today is our final day with the kids. We started our session by gathering all my groupmates and the children to a place, and we held an 'open-table' discussion. The kids told their opinion of the event, one-by-one. I felt a tad little bit touched by the kids' speech and it made me feel appreciated.
During the closing ceremony, the kids step up on the stage and received their certificates for participating the camp. We said our goodbyes and said our farewells. We hope to see them once again, later on.
